Governance
Our Board of Trustees
To ensure the team at Scotty HQ stay true to our mission, like most charities, we have a board of trustees who watch over our work. The trustees have overall legal responsibility for the charity but delegate most of the day-to-day activities to the team.

Jason Worthy
Chair of Trustees
Jason is a fitness and sports industry veteran having spent the last two and a half decades working across the global fitness industry. He previously served as CEO of Life Fitness Inc and Vice President at Brunswick Corporation. Currently, he owns The Outdoors Project's Berkshire franchise and works as an International Growth Consultant.

Ellen Plumer
Ellen was born into a military family and has over 15 years of experience working within large charities such as Norwood, Barnardo's and Ben. She specialises in diversifying income streams while maintaining focus on beneficiaries. Currently Head of Employer Services at Ben, she leverages business partnerships to support charities.

Jon "Tank" James
Jon is a 13-year British Army Veteran from the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment and a Vice President at Bank of America. He is Events Lead for the Military Support & Assistance Group Network, and served alongside Corporal Lee Scott — the namesake of Scotty's Little Soldiers. He has been an active supporter of the charity since its very beginning.

Simon Millar
Simon is CEO of Albanwise Insurance Services, with thirty years of experience in the property industry. He was inspired to support Scotty's after hearing Nikki speak at a rugby dinner, and went on to organise annual charity balls before becoming a Trustee in May 2018.

Nikki Douglass
A Senior Civil Servant within the Ministry of Defence, currently serving within National Armaments as lead for Enterprise Service Management.

Martin Douglass
Martin joins Scotty's as its first Royal Navy Trustee, bringing a wealth of operational, support and leadership experience from both military service and industry.
If you'd like to register your interest in becoming a trustee in the future please feel free to email us with a copy of your CV to recruitment@scottys.org.uk.
